Add Cash

You can add cash directly at the register at thousands of convenient locations, including CVS, Dollar General, Family Dollar, Walgreens, Walmart, Speedway and select 7-Eleven locations.

Add cash with ease

You can add as much as $500 or as little as $20 per transaction (daily limits apply). Give the amount of cash you wish to add to the cashier (as well as any necessary fees), swipe your card or scan your barcode, and your money is immediately added to your account.

Here's how to add cash with barcode reload:

Mobile App

Open & log in to the Serve Mobile App.¹ Go to Money In and click/tap Add with Barcode.
Select retailer

Choose the retailer where you would like to load cash. Participating retailers and any applicable fees are listed on the Add with Barcode screen.
Add cash

Show the cashier the unique barcode and give them the cash for the reload & reload fee (if applicable). Your money will be automatically added to your Serve Jackson Hewitt Account.

: Follow the steps below to add cash with Barcode Reload using the Serve Mobile App.¹
Open and log in to the Serve Mobile App on your mobile phone.
Go to Money In and click/tap Add with Barcode.
Choose the retailer where you would like to load cash. Participating retailers and any applicable fees are listed on the Add with Barcode screen.
A unique barcode for that retailer will then generate on your screen. Please be sure to use your barcode within two hours. The expiration date and time will be displayed at the top of the screen.
Show the cashier the barcode on your phone to scan. Give the cashier your cash (between $20 and $500) for the reload and reload fee (if applicable) to complete the transaction.
